Cell was made my Dr. Gero to defeat Goku, and destroy the world. Piccolo first finds Cell in his first and imperfect form. Cell is almost beatin by Piccolo after fusing with Kami. Cell later absorbs android 18 and fights Vegeta. Vegeta is stronger than him so his gets Vegeta to let him Absorb 17. In his Perfect form he seems to be unstopable. Goku tries, but lets Gohan take over. After android 16 is detroyed and his friends are attacked by Cell Jr's Gohan turns SSJ 2 and defeats cell with a mighty Kamehameha blast.
